LawVriksh / Legal

Terms and Conditions

Effective 22 October 2026 · LAWVRIKSH PRIVATE LIMITED

1. Agreement and scope

These Terms govern your access to the LawVriksh website, applications, subscriptions, and related services (the "Service"). By creating an account, accepting an order, or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you use the Service for a chamber, firm, company, or other organisation, you confirm that you may bind that organisation to these Terms. In that case, "you" includes the organisation and its authorised users.

The plan, price, included credits, usage limits, and any special terms shown at checkout or in a written order form form part of your agreement. If an order form expressly conflicts with these Terms, the order form controls for that purchase. We may provide trials or free plans with the limits shown when you sign up.

2. Who may use the Service

You must be legally capable of entering this agreement and use the Service for lawful professional or business purposes. An organisation is responsible for its authorised users, their access permissions, and activity under its accounts. Keep login credentials secure and tell us promptly at support@lawvriksh.com if you suspect unauthorised access.

You decide which client, matter, and document information to upload and who in your organisation may access it. You are responsible for having the authority, notices, consents, and professional permissions needed to upload and process that information, including confidential, privileged, and personal information.

3. What the Service does

Depending on your plan and available features, LawVriksh helps organise matter files, digitise and search documents, read scanned or Hindi and English documents, extract facts and dates, build chronologies and matter insights, ask questions about uploaded material, and prepare source-linked drafts or other work product. Some features use AI and may consume credits. Features, models, limits, and supported file formats may change; we will give reasonable notice of material changes that reduce a paid plan's core functionality.

LawVriksh is a software tool. It does not represent a client, act as an advocate, establish a lawyer–client relationship with your client, file anything with a court, or make professional decisions for you. You must verify facts, citations, dates, quotations, legal propositions, and final documents before relying on, sharing, or filing them. AI output can be incomplete, inaccurate, or unsuitable for a particular matter even when it displays a source reference. Your independent legal judgment and professional duties remain your responsibility.

4. Your content and permissions

"Customer Content" means documents, prompts, matter data, notes, instructions, and other material that you or your authorised users submit to the Service, together with outputs generated for you from that material. As between you and LawVriksh, you retain your rights in Customer Content. You grant us and our service providers a limited right to host, copy, transmit, process, and display Customer Content only as needed to provide, secure, maintain, support, and improve the Service as described in these Terms and the Privacy Policy, or as you otherwise direct or lawfully authorise.

AI features may send the relevant prompt, document text, extracted content, and context to external AI service providers to produce the requested output. The Privacy Policy explains this processing. Do not upload information where your obligations prohibit this processing.

We will not claim ownership of your uploaded documents or generated work product. Similar or identical AI outputs may be generated for other users independently. You are responsible for reviewing whether an output infringes another person's rights or discloses material you should not disclose.

We will use reasonable measures to protect Customer Content against unauthorised access and disclose it only to authorised personnel and service providers who need it for the permitted purposes, or where required by law. Our more detailed data practices appear in the Privacy Policy.

5. Acceptable use

You must not use the Service to break the law or another person's rights; upload material you lack authority to process; access another customer's data; bypass access, security, or usage controls; introduce malicious code; overload or disrupt the Service; scrape or reverse engineer it except where law permits; or resell access without our written permission. You must not present unreviewed AI output as verified legal work. We may investigate suspected misuse and take proportionate action, including restricting affected access, after notice where reasonably possible.

6. Plans, credits, payment, and taxes

The current plans and charges are displayed on our pricing page or at checkout. Paid plans are charged for the stated subscription term, currently monthly where indicated. AI actions such as asking questions, drafting, and reviews may use credits according to the usage information shown in the Service. Included monthly plan credits reset at the end of each billing period and do not roll over. Purchased recharge credits remain available until used, subject to these Terms and any clearly disclosed technical or legal limits. We will display applicable charges and taxes before payment.

A paid subscription does not renew or create a further paid term without your authorisation. If you cancel, you may continue using the paid plan until the end of its already paid term; no further term will be charged unless you authorise it. To request cancellation or ask about your plan, email support@lawvriksh.com from your registered email address. We may ask you to complete an already authorised payment or pay overdue charges. If a payment fails, we may suspend paid features after reasonable notice.

Refunds. Subscription fees are generally non-refundable once the paid term begins, including if you cancel early or do not use all included credits. This does not restrict any refund, remedy, or right that applicable law requires, or a refund expressly offered at checkout or in a written order. If we discontinue a paid service during your term without a comparable replacement, we will provide a reasonable remedy for the unused portion. Contact support@lawvriksh.com if you believe a payment was made in error or charged twice; we will review the transaction and provide any refund or correction due.

7. Availability, changes, and suspension

We aim to keep the Service available but cannot promise uninterrupted or error-free operation. Maintenance, security events, third-party systems, and network problems may interrupt access. We may update the Service to improve it, fix defects, or comply with law. We may suspend access when reasonably necessary to protect the Service or others, address unlawful use, or respond to non-payment; where practical we will give notice and a way to resolve the issue.

8. Ending the agreement and your data

You may stop using the Service or request account deletion by emailing support@lawvriksh.com from your registered address or by completing our identity-verification process. Cancellation of a subscription and deletion of an account are different requests. A cancellation normally leaves access in place until the end of the paid term; a deletion request may end access earlier. We may terminate for a material breach if it remains uncorrected after reasonable notice, or immediately when continued access creates a serious security or legal risk.

Before requesting deletion, save any material you need through the export options available in the Service or contact us for assistance. We will explain how the request affects access and shared matter content when processing it. We may retain records required for accounting, legal compliance, dispute resolution, and security as described in our Privacy Policy.

9. Intellectual property and feedback

We and our licensors own the Service, its software, design, branding, and documentation. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive right to use it during your plan term under these Terms. This does not transfer our intellectual property to you. If you voluntarily give product feedback, we may use the ideas without payment, but this does not permit us to publish your confidential Customer Content.

10. Warranties and liability

We will provide the Service with reasonable care and skill. We do not guarantee a particular legal result, that every source or citation is complete, or that AI output is accurate. Nothing here excludes a warranty or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded.

To the extent permitted by law, neither party is liable to the other for indirect or consequential losses, such as lost profits or business opportunities, arising from this agreement. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, including liability for fraud or wilful misconduct, or prevents you from seeking a remedy required by applicable law.

You will address third-party claims caused by material you uploaded without the necessary rights or by your unlawful use of the Service, subject to prompt notice and a fair opportunity to respond. We remain responsible for our own conduct and obligations under these Terms and applicable law.

11. Complaints, law, and changes

For support or billing, contact support@lawvriksh.com. For privacy requests or complaints, contact contact@lawvriksh.com or write to LAWVRIKSH PRIVATE LIMITED at H.No. 223, Jasuja City, Medical College (Jabalpur), Jabalpur, Jabalpur - 482003, Madhya Pradesh, India. We will acknowledge and handle complaints in accordance with applicable law.

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Subject to any mandatory right to bring a claim elsewhere, courts in Jabalpur, Madhya Pradesh will have jurisdiction. Before filing a claim, either party may ask the other to try to resolve it through good-faith discussion for 30 days; urgent relief and statutory complaints remain available.

We may update these Terms. We will post the revised version with its effective date and notify account holders of material changes by email or in the Service before they apply, where reasonably possible. A change will not retroactively impose new charges for an already paid term without your agreement. If you do not accept a material change, you may stop using the Service and cancel future terms.
